Walking the 6th District, walking the city.

In April 2025, I kicked off the campaign, with focus on raising the critical funds to run a citywide race (still raising, so please go donate!).

But, I also committed to know the neighborhoods, infrastructure, and fabric of the 6th District- and the rest of the city- even better; to build deeper relationships and know the physical footprint so I can govern well when elected.

So, I walked all of it.

See this map?

It outlines the entire 6th District in dark blue, and captures the rest of Kansas City. It also shows everywhere I walked. From April 2025 to April 2026, I walked every street and block in the 6th District. If I want to best represent my District, I knew I needed to know it well. What better way to learn than by walking it.

Thanks for joining me and for walking much of it together.

I got to know many of you, hear your ideas, and learn from you along the way.

Dark blue indicates 6th District boundaries

Light blue indicates where I've walked

* The map is interactive, so use the + and - on the left side to zoom in and out. You’ll see light blue lines that trace all of the walks I completed. Click a line to illuminate a walk, where you can see the date and a few of my short notes about what I experienced.

* Each walk has proof: I tracked my walks using the Strava app, and there’s a link to each Strava activity so you can know for sure I did it. I didn't just draw lines on a map– I was out walking almost every day for a year.
